Affiliate Window, part of the zanox group, acquired buy.at in 2010 to reach out to more clients internationally and inherit key relationships with brands such as O2, RAC and Aviva.
Aligning two network platforms was a key challenge to Affiliate Window following the acquisition, with its main priority to merge the two networks together, creating a single solution for advertisers and publishers.

Gaming companies in Ireland currently enjoy some of the lowest betting tax rates in the world after the rate was reduced from 10% to 1% in stages by previous Finance Minister Charles McCreevy. The 1% tax rate raises around €30 million per year, this being an insufficient amount to fund and promote the countries racing industry.
“I think that the decision to effectively reduce what was once a ten per cent betting tax down to one per cent, which has resulted in a significant decline in revenue coming from betting tax, was crazy, and I think it should be reversed”, states Coveney. “As a result we have to actually supplement the horse and greyhound fund with exchequer money, which is crazy when it actually could be self-financing.”
