Bulgaria Casino Domain Blacklist

Published 01.02.2019  Author: J.D  Category: News

Bulgaria have been looking into casinos operating across the country, enforcing regulation and removing any risk for their valuable players. The Bulgarian State Gambling Commission (SCG) has revealed that they have recently added two new gambling sites to their list of banned domains.

The action was taken after the authority found that the casinos were operating without a gambling licence and breaking the law in doing so. The SCG has released the domains
, df-bet.org and 1xdzug.host, in the assumed effort to make an example of the operators to hopefully prevent future occurrences.

The Bulgarian gaming industry has been growing at a rapid pace for the past year, with the first nine months of 2018 seeing a 17% growth in tax contribution. The online gambling section represents around 10% of the entire gambling market for Bulgaria, which is estimated to have contributed $89 million in the same period. This figure was a welcome surprise, as it was 30% higher than the same period in 2017, which resolved concerns about the reduced tourism from Turkey having an impact on the industry.

The Growing Swedish iGaming Market

Published 29.01.2019  Author: J.D  Category: News

After the new regulation implemented into the Swedish gambling market, it was a concern that the market would slow down - with some expecting for casinos to channel business elsewhere. However the online gaming market continues to grow with new companies beginning to get clearance to operate in the country, with 65 operators now being regulated in Sweden. Names such as Dreambox Games (Chanz.com), More Tech Group (superlottoclub.com), Legolas Invest (legolas.bet), Pixel Digital (pixel.bet) and Ellmount Gaming (casinoroom.com) have now joined the catalog of legal Swedish casinos.

A recent warning has been issued to all license holders, stating that although these operators have been approved - there were some small shortcomings in the self-exclusion area. It was said that "If the gaming companies lack the requirement to check and stop players who have self-excluded, it can be considered a serious breach of the regulations
, which could lead to them losing their licence"

It's great to see that the Swedish Gambling Market is quickly expanding, with the constant addition of new brands almost weekly - ensure you are taking full advantage of these brands who are desperately looking to grow themselves in this market.

New York Set to Legalise Sports Betting

Published 24.01.2019  Author: J.D  Category: News

After a long 26 years of Sports Betting being illegal in the majority of America, around nine months ago - Nevada lifted the law and began to legalise betting on sports games. This move was made after it was estimated that $150 billion in bets were made illegally, through the use of the black market. It is thought that New York might be following in the footsteps of Nevada and a few other states.

Obviously an outstanding issue with Sports Betting was always fixed results, teams betting against themselves and throwing matches for the benefit of financial rewards. However
Chris Grove, a gambling industry analyst said "Sports betting isn't coming, it's already here - What's coming is regulated sports betting..." Insinuating that although Sports Betting comes with the assumption that more events will be fixed, this might have already been the case - but by legalising sports betting, regulation can better be implemented.

Sports Betting being re-introduced to America offers a new market for Affiliates to tap into, with the industry already being worth up to $150 Billion a year, you can bet this will rapidly expand once legalised.
